Athlete Spotlight: AYA SATO
Aya has been enjoy CrossFit for almost six months now. She initially discovered CrossFit because she believed it was the ideal training regimen for her main job, snowboarding, and was drawn to the idea of group training, having previously trained alone. Her goal in CrossFit is to build a body and mind that will benefit her snowboarding career. Aya's most memorable moments in CrossFit include pushing through tough workouts and mastering new movements. Since starting CrossFit, she has experienced relief from back pain and stiff shoulders and has seen an increase in her overall strength after exhaustion. Her advice for newcomers is that once they start CrossFit, they'll become hooked on it.

How long have you been doing CrossFit? Almost six months.
How did you hear about us and what made you decide to start? Because I thought it was the perfect training for snowboarding. I've always trained alone, but I liked the idea of training in a group session.
What is your goal or purpose? To build a body and mind that I can use in my main job, snowboarding.
What has been your most memorable CrossFit moment? When I can give it my all to finish a workout when I know it's going to be a tough day. When I get the hang of a movement.
Have you noticed any changes in your daily life since starting CrossFit? I no longer have back pain and stiff shoulders. My bottom line strength after exhaustion has increased! LOL.
What advice do you have for someone just getting started with CrossFit? Once you start going, you'll be hooked!
